inflation of fuel

In regards to the article How much longer will they skyrocket for on Geek for government. I must agree that the American population must demand a president to create new energy policies to punish the oil industry for its actions. I do not see how our government can allow us to suffer when there is such a large capital gain on oil.

Many Americans are changing their living style to survive. I have sold my diesel truck for a more economic vehicle to sustain an income to live happily on. I believe many Americans are doing the same. I do not know how long the economy can keep such a high price of fuel and allow our wages to stay the same. The gas is not only affecting the average worker, but also inflating the price of anything that is not a local product, which is everything including the cost of construction, food, goods, and everything in-between. I would hate to live else where in the world where gas is even higher. It seems as if everyone shall be pushed to ride bikes, or have environmentally powered vehicles.

The economy shall soon change under the presidency of Obama. Whether it will be good or bad is to be seen in the near future. Obama has shown interest in green energy, and new tax reforms for corporate America. This seems to be an effort that will stabilize the economy for the average Joe to bring this chaos to a halt.
